United Grand Lodge of England - Tercentenary Celebrations.

United Grand Lodge of England held a Tercentenary Celebration on Tuesday 31st October 2017 at the Royal Albert Hall, with a banquet after at Battersea Evolution.

Over 4000 attended at the Royal Albert Hall with 2000 dining after. Representatives from Grand Lodges of other Consitutions from all over the world where in attendance.

The celebrations where presided over by M W Bro HRH the Duke of Kent - Grand Master, and in the presence of M W Bro Peter Lowndes - Pro Grand Master, R W Bro Johnathan Spence - Deputy Grand Master, R W Bro Sir David Wootton - Assistant Grand Master and R W Bro HRH Prince Michael of Kent - Provincial Grand Master for Middlesex.

The photographs below were taken before the opening of the meeting, with the empty seats in the centre of the Royal Albert Hall eventually being occupied by the Representatives of Grand Lodges of other Constitutions from all over the world, who entered in procession.

This was no ordinary meeting but an extravaganza of music, acting and song over a period of approximately two hours, and was recorded and televised with live feeds to numerous places in the UK and abroad.

The celebrations at the Royal Albert Hall were received with acclaim by all in attendance; certainly a true celebration.
