Hillingdon Royal Arch Chapter No. 3174 – Closure.

After 41 years, 3 months and 6 days, having celebrated 127 Regular Convocations, Hillingdon Chapter No. 3174 has surrendered its Charter.

The Closure Convocation was held at the Uxbridge Masonic Centre on Thursday 14th September 2017 and 25 Companions, including E. Comp. Russell Gotham, Past 2nd Provincial Grand Principal, a founding member, attended.

It was a sad occasion but the Companions remembered the good things that had emanated from the Chapter.

The Charter of the Chapter was surrendered to E. Comp. Mike Karn, PAGDC, 3rd Provincial Grand Principal, to be returned to the Most Excellent First Grand Principal.

At the Closure Convocation, the Chapter made the following donation:

£1350.00 to the Middlesex 2020 Festival.
£500.00 to the Hillingdon Samaritans.
£500.00 to the Hillingdon Brain Tumour Support Group.
£800.00 to the Mayors Parlour Charity Appeal.
£300.00 to the 2nd Uxbridge Scout Group.
£500.00 to Hillingdon Lodge No.3174 for the continued support of the widows.
